The morning of Makenzy's birthday we gave her all of her presents, and she seemed to be very overwhelmed! I think she may have thought that it was still Jaxson's birthday because we had just celebrated it the week prior!
My mom always makes us cookies for our birthday with our names on them, and Kenzy was so excited to blow out the candle while sitting on her new Dora bike of course!!!
I made dog bone bean bags for the little kids to throw into a dog bowl, and carrot bean bags-with the help of my mother in law! to hop like a bunny and drop them in a basket! I enjoyed placing the cupcakes together to make a flower! Oh the little things!!!

She was very excited to get some dress up shoes! Kenzy is so funny with shoes....I will have her in white sandals and the next thing I know, she has on a pink or brown pair instead! She also got a couple pet shop stuffed animals, a velcro birthday cake set-which is totally cool, I like to play with it!, and a bath/feeding/dressing table for her little babies! The boys enjoyed finding all of the secret compartments in it!
For dinner we took the birthday girl to Pofolks! It is a southern style restaurant and they have a train that goes around the whole restaurant and she loves to watch it!
After dinner, she opened up presents from Nana and Papa, and Nanny and Papa! She got more shoes, a huge princess pillow, a princess tea set, and her very first tricycle!!!

On August 15th, we had Makenzy's birthday party! It was a Littlest Pet Shop Party! She loves animals so much, so I thought that this would be the best fit for her!

Pic 1: We played "doggy doggy where's your bone, and someone got to hide the doggy bone while another person closed their eyes....here is our friend Andi covering Kenzy's eyes! The kids enjoyed this game! Pic 2: Here's Eric being brave and holding the dog bowl, while in Pic 3 the kids threw the dog bones into the bowl! Thank goodness they were bean bags instead of real ones!!!

We had such a wonderful day celebrating Makenzy's birthday! She is such a blessing in our family! We love you Makenzy!
