Discovery Science Center

So during Spring Break.....On Wednesday we went to the Discovery Science Center! The kids were very excited to see Bubblefest, as well as the Magic School Bus! We have a ton of Magic School Bus books, but to bring it to life was so much fun!

Here are Nik and Cooper standing with Ms. Frizzle! Nik was kind of bummed out, because "the real" Ms. Frizzle was not going to be there. He was satisfied sitting at her desk though! And Kenzy and Jax drove the Magic School Bus for a long time! There were different scenes on the screen in front of them.

I think that we stayed in this little exhibit for almost 2 hours! There was so much to do. The kids even read pretend cue cards and acted like weathermen for a news station! Fun stuff!!! We didn't even get a chance to go upstairs and see the History of Hockey, or even go outside and do the Dino Quest! So many things to do there and never enough time, right!!!!!

Time did go by so fast that when we realized it, it was time for the Bubble Show with Fan Yang! The only thing I can say is "WOW"!! That man is absolutely amazing! All 3 boys sat on the floor in front and looked just as amazed as I was the whole time! Nik, Jax and Kenzy were excited to try out their new bubble toys that we got, so right when we got home we tried to do some cool tricks like Fan Yang did, but we did not succeed very well!!! I guess it just takes more practice!!!!! Well, maybe a LOT more practice!!!!
